Near North Customs Brokers provides tailored, full-service customs brokerage and trade consulting services in Canada and the United States. While its focus on people, technology and customer solutions was well-known within the sector, it needed a clarified marketing position.
Strategy & Work
Working with the Vice President and Client Services Manager in Canada, and the Vice President of the United States Office, I proposed a new brand identity and website design that would remind current clients of the value of working with Near North Customs Brokers, increase brand recognition among potential clients, and make the website easier to use for all. A discovery process led to clarified key messages and phrases as well as its core values that would be illustrated in both the new brand identity and website. I also proposed and created a digital newsletter to inform clients of important updates in the sector, including the biggest regulatory change in more than 20 years with the Canada Border Services Agency, which regulates the industry.
