MEET GLORIA J. CHANG
Gloria J. Chang is the founder of Chang Communications, a senior advisory firm that helps executive leaders navigate transformation, crisis, and growth in high-stakes environments. She specializes in embedding thoughtful AI governance and adoption throughout her practice — from change leadership and reputation management to strategic communications and brand strategy.
With three decades of experience across organizational change, enterprise communications, and journalism, Gloria has guided leadership teams through some of their most consequential decisions.
Her work has spanned national research agencies, Olympic organizing committees, customs and trade organizations, marine research institutions, and high-growth non-profits across North America and internationally. What these diverse organizations shared was complexity, high stakes, and public scrutiny. Gloria’s role was to bring clarity, align stakeholders, protect and strengthen reputation, and deliver confident change and communications that ensured executive strategy landed.
Before Chang Communications, Gloria built her reputation as a respected journalist in both English and French — covering health, technology, science, and complex public-interest stories for CBC Radio, CBC French Television, CTV News, and Discovery Channel Canada, with contributions to The Globe and Mail, The Vancouver Sun, and Reader's Digest, among others.
This journalistic foundation — the ability to quickly grasp complex issues, distill them into clear and compelling narratives, and deliver calmly under pressure — continues to set her apart when leaders face their most challenging moments.

What Most Strategies Are Missing
"Across every sector I've worked in, the gap between a good strategy and a successful one is almost always an alignment and communications gap.
Leaders know what needs to happen. The hard part is bringing their people with them — building the understanding, trust, and shared purpose that every successful transformation requires. Closing that gap is the work I find most meaningful, and it takes clear, confident communication, engagement, and change management.
This is what I do for leadership teams like yours: quickly identify the sticking points — then build the alignment and momentum that makes the strategy land.
I specialize in AI enablement and adoption because the decisions organizations make now will shape how they perform in the years ahead — and whether their people come along with them. I also love being at the front of emerging tech. My first professional role was ushering in the internet editorially and I've helped lead digital transformation ever since. AI is at that same moment again."

HOW WE WORK
Change Management: Transformation and AI Adoption
We begin with a structured assessment of your organization's readiness for change — technological, procedural, and cultural. Using the Prosci ADKAR model as our framework, we offer change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement as one integrated service to seamlessly implement change in a way that brings your people with you.
Strategic Communications, Reputation, and Brand Strategy
We start with a communications and content audit — an honest assessment of where your narrative stands, where the gaps are, and what your audience needs to hear. From there, we build the narrative architecture and communications function together, usually on an annual retainer. AI is integrated into workflows.
